The Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector is open Monday through Friday (except legal holidays) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the last walk-in customer accepted at 4:00 p.m.

The Office of the Treasurer and Tax Collector has partnered with 311 to provide customer service to all San Francisco residents, businesses and visitors. Submit your question by clicking on the appropriate button below and a representative will contact you on the SAME DAY of the request if submitted prior to 7pm. Requests received after 7pm will receive a response by the next business day.

Products and services available at the Cashier located in Room 140:
- Muni Transit Visitor Passports for 1, 3, and 7 day (cash only)
- Muni Map of San Francisco (cash only)
- Parking Meter Debit Cards Available for Purchase in $20 and $50 denominations (cash only)
- Obtain/Renew Dog License
- Accepts payment for:
- Property tax
- Business licenses, permits, and taxes (business registration, gross receipts/payroll expense, regulatory licenses/permits, ALT/TUT/UUT, parking tax, TOT, cigarette abatement, sugary drinks, stadium operator)
- Water service (bills from SF Water Department)
