The Property Zone contains a wide range of information about San Francisco property taxes. 2009-2010 Regular Secured Property Taxes 

You can access, view, print, or pay your bill via the online services portal. For general property tax questions, you may contact Taxpayer Assistance by phone (415) 554-4400, by email at Treasurer.TaxCollector@sfgov.org, or in person at City Hall – Room 140.

The Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector is pleased to announce expansion of its online payment services for property taxes. New and expanded options include:

• Payment with NO CONVENIENCE FEE by electronic check ("E-Check")
• For qualifying Debit Card payments (Visa Personal Debit, STAR, NYCE and PULSE; subject to your bank's participation*) the convenience fee is a flat rate of $3.95
  (* Please note that if your banking institution does not authorize your card for "PIN-less debit" transactions, your transaction will be processed as a credit card with the correponding 2.25% convenience fee.)
• Use of more types of credit cards (now accepting Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) -- all at a rate of 2.25%
• Opportunity to use "Bill Pay" service ("Home Banking") through your banking institution (subject to your bank's participation)
• Other method of payment

In addition to expanded payment options, our online payment service now provides the ability to view and pay for more types of tax bills – Supplemental, Escape, and Redemption – in addition to Regular Secured taxes. You can also view information regarding payment of the prior year’s taxes for income tax reporting purposes. There are three City departments involved in the administration of property taxes in San Francisco – the Office of the Assessor/Recorder, the Office of the Controller, and the Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector.
