Provide Information by September 10, 2021
You must pay the 2021-2022 business registration fee by November 1, 2021, and our office is missing critical information about your 2020 gross receipts to create your bill. To provide the missing information, follow the instructions in the box below by September 10, 2021. We will use the information you provide to create a bill for 2021-2022 business registration fee and will notify you when it’s payable on the Business Tax Payment Portal. You will not be required to submit a filing for 2021-2022 Business Registration Renewal.
Instructions for Reporting 2020 Gross Receipts
- Click here to begin.
- Enter your login information, which was provided in letter you recently received from our office. You will need:
- Your seven (7) digit Business Account Number
- The last four (4) digits of your Tax Identification Number
- Your eight (8) character Online PIN
- Complete the filing questionnaire.
Detailed Instructions>> - On the next page, click the File button next to Gross Receipts Tax and Homelessness Gross Receipts Tax Returns.
- Select applicable business activity(ies) . Click Save and Continue.
Detailed Instructions>> - Complete the Apportionment information. Click Save and Continue.
Detailed Instructions>> - Enter your 2020 Gross Receipts for each business activity. Click Save and Continue.
Detailed Instructions>> - On the next page you will see the Calculation of Gross Receipts Tax. If you are below the small business exemption threshold for 2020 ($1,200,000), you will not owe Annual Business Taxes. Click Save and Continue.
- Fill out the Taxpayer Statement.Click Submit.
