Checks and money orders should be made payable to SF Tax Collector and should include the Block and Lot number on them. the canceled check or money order stub serves as the receipt. Do not send cash. Home Banking Payments:
Online banking requires you to use the account number shown on the tax bill. Enter payee "SF Tax Collector Property Tax"
Secured, supplemental, escape, and redemption property tax bills can be paid by calling 1-800-890-1950. a credit card or debit card is required and convenience fees will apply.
Wire Transfer Payments:
Wire transfer instructions (pdf) Pursuant to California revenue and taxation Code section 2503.2, if you plan to make an aggregate payment of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) or more on the two most recent installments of secured taxes or on the one installment of the most recent unsecured tax, you are required to make your payment via Wire transfer.
