View or Pay a Property Tax Bill Online:
Credit card (Discover, AMEX, MasterCard, Visa), debit card and e-check payments are accepted October through June. The online payment system is not available July 1 through September 30.
A convenience fee of 2.25% for credit card payments and $3.95 for qualifying debit card payments will be assessed. There is no convenience fee for e-check payments.

Taxpayers are responsible for delinquent fees and penalties resulting from any unavailability. We recommend that you pay your property taxes early to avoid unnecessary late penalties and fees. Convenience fees do apply.

To avoid penalties, payments must be scheduled to ensure receipt of payment by the delinquency date shown on the tax bill. Review the deadlines for timely payments.

Additional Payment Options
Payments over $50,000:
If you plan to make an aggregate payment of $50,000 or more, you are strongly encouraged to make your payment via electronic funds transfer (e-check, ACH, or wire transfer).
Checks and money orders should be made payable to SF Tax Collector and should include Block and Lot number on the memo line. The canceled check or money order stub serves as the receipt for payment. Secured, supplemental, escape, and redemption property tax bills can be paid by calling 1-800-890-1950. a credit card or debit card is required and convenience fees will apply.
