To better serve residents and taxpayers, the City & County of San Francisco is moving to a new payment processor.  Online forms, tax filings, and payments are unavailable until Tuesday, October 11 at 9:00 a.m. while we make this change. If you need to make a payment during this time, please use one of the payment methods listed below. If you need to register a business or update your business account information, please follow the instructions below.

To Make a Business Tax Payment:

To Register a Business:

Business Registration Application

Print, fill out , and mail your business registration form with a check or money order for your registration fee payment to:

You can obtain, fill out, and submit a business registration form at our City Hall office. Once completed, a temporary certificate will be issued.

  • If you are a City Bidder/Supplier who needs to register as a new business, please follow the instructions above for Registering a New Business and provide your Bidder/Supplier ID number on the New Business Registration application.
  • If you are a Bidder/Supplier who needs to link your Bidder/Supplier ID number with existing business account number, please fill out this form and email to TTX.Vendoraccounts@sfgov.org.
