Pay your tax bills online or in person with no service fee by providing your checking account information. Service fees may apply for credit card or debit card payments.

Our payment systems support Microsoft Internet Explorer 11+, Windows EDGE and current versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari. If you choose to use a browser other than the ones listed, your experience may not be optimal or secure. Please check and/or update your browser version before making a payment.
Acceptable forms of payment: Credit card, debit card, or electronic check (eCheck). Maximum online payment amount accepted is $5,000,000.

Prior to submitting an eCheck/ACH payment, we recommend that you confirm with your financial institution whether your account allows such transactions. Some examples of unacceptable checks/accounts are:

** Electronic Check option is not available for taxpayers with corporate accounts that have ACH debit block and filters in place.
We are working to improve our online tax payment site to better serve you. Credit cards, debit cards, and eCheck online payments using the public access computers in City Hall will be down for maintenance through Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Please use cash or check to pay your bill.
Acceptable forms of payment: cash, check (personal, business, money order, cashier's check) and using the public access computers to pay by credit card, debit card, electronic check (eCheck) during business hours (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) at:

It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that payments are successfully received by the Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector by the indicated due dates. Payments not received for any reason will result in penalties, interest and/or administrative fees applied to your account. Bank rejected transactions may be subject to $50 returned item fee.
Make check/money order payable to "SF Tax Collector" and include Business Account Number (BAN) on the memo line of the check. The canceled check/money order stub serves as your receipt. Do not send cash. Mail payments to:
